How to Do Your First Practice Quiz
Learn how to quickly assign engaging reading practices to your students using PicoBuddy. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to help you get started and effectively utilize this feature in your classroom.
Taking a practice quiz in PicoBuddy is simple. Follow these steps to get started.
Step 1: Search in the Library
Go to the Library.
Use the search bar or filters to find a passage that matches your topic, grade level, or skill focus.
Step 2: Choose Your Passage
Click on the passage you want to use.
You can preview the text and questions before starting.
Step 3: Read the Passage
Scroll through and read the full passage carefully.
Take your time — the quiz is based on what you just read.
Step 4: Take the Quiz
Scroll down to the section:
“Test your understanding”
Answer the questions one by one.
Step 5: Enter Your Name and Save
When you finish:
- Enter your name
- Click the button “Save to My Assessments”
This saves your results.
Step 6: View Your Results
After saving, you will be redirected to the Assessments Overview page.
There you can:
- See your score
- Review your answers
- Track progress over time
