Super Sam's High-Wire Act
Super Sam was not like the other superheroes. He could zoom faster than a race car and lift a school bus with one hand! But Super Sam had a secret: he was afraid of heights.
One sunny day, the circus came to town. Sam watched as the acrobats walked on a high wire. His tummy felt funny, and his hands got sweaty. "I can't do that!" he whispered.
Suddenly, a loud meow broke the silence. A tiny kitten was stuck on the high wire! The kitten looked scared, and people gasped. Super Sam knew he had to do something.
Sam took a deep breath. He looked at the kitten. He thought, "I can be brave." Slowly, he climbed up the ladder to the high wire. It wobbled, but Sam kept going. He walked carefully, one step at a time.
Finally, he reached the kitten. He gently picked it up. Then, he walked back, very slowly and carefully. Everyone cheered when Sam and the kitten were safe on the ground. Sam smiled. He was still a little scared of heights, but he was also very proud of himself.
From that day on, Super Sam knew he could face his fears, one step at a time.
