President Barkley's First Day
President Barkley wagged his tail. Today was his first day! He lived in a big, white house now. It was the White House! He was ready to help everyone.
First, he went to his office. The desk was very big. He needed a boost to see over it! He signed some papers with his paw print. They were important papers about making sure everyone had treats.
Next, he had a meeting. People talked about helping animals. President Barkley listened very carefully. He barked when he had a good idea. Everyone smiled.
After the meeting, he went for a walk. He met lots of people. He wagged his tail and shook their hands (or paws!). He wanted to know what they needed. He wanted to be the best president ever!
At the end of the day, President Barkley was tired. But he was happy. He helped people and animals. He made new friends. Being president was hard work. But it was also lots of fun!
