Percy the Polar Bear's Snowy Day
Percy the polar bear lived in a very cold place. It was always snowy! You might think Percy loved the snow, but he didn't. He liked warm hugs and sunny days.
One day, big snowflakes fell from the sky. Percy put on his red scarf and went outside. Brrr! It was cold. He saw a snowflake land on his paw. It looked like a tiny star. Percy smiled a little.
He walked around and saw other animals. A little penguin waddled by. "Hello, Percy!" she said. "Do you want to play?"
Percy thought for a moment. He didn't really want to play in the snow, but he didn't want to be alone. "Okay," he said.
They made snow angels. Percy laughed when he fell over. He threw a snowball at the penguin. She threw one back. Soon, Percy was having lots of fun! The snow wasn't so bad after all. He learned that playing with friends makes everything better, even the snow.
When it was time to go home, Percy felt happy. He liked the snow a little more now. Maybe winter wasn't so bad after all.
