Cowboy Carlos's Day
Carlos is a cowboy. He lives on a big ranch in Texas. His job is to take care of the cows and horses.
Each morning, the sun wakes Carlos up. He puts on his boots and hat. He goes to the barn to feed the animals. The cows moo, and the horses neigh. They are happy to see him.
Carlos rides his horse, Buster, around the ranch. He checks to make sure the fence is strong. He wants to keep the cows safe inside. Sometimes, a cow gets out. Carlos and Buster work together to bring it back.
In the afternoon, Carlos helps the other cowboys. They fix things on the ranch. They might fix a broken fence or a leaky roof. Carlos learns new things every day. He likes working with his friends.
When the sun goes down, Carlos eats dinner. He eats beans and meat. After dinner, he sings songs with his friends around a fire. Then, he goes to sleep. He dreams of cows and horses. Carlos loves being a cowboy.
