The Treehouse Surprise
Lily and Tom are good friends. One day, they found a treehouse in the woods. It looked old.
Finding the Treehouse
"Look!" said Lily. She pointed to the ladder to the treehouse. Tom looked up. "Let's go in!"
They climbed up and opened the door. Inside, they saw a map and a compass.
The Walk
The map showed a way to a waterfall. "Let's go!" said Lily. Tom took the compass.
They walked in the woods. They saw squirrels and birds. They saw a deer! They got to the waterfall. It was pretty.
The Box
Behind the waterfall, they found a box. Inside was a key. "What does it open?" asked Tom.
They went back to the treehouse. The key did not fit the door. They saw a box under the floor. The key fit! Inside was a note. It said, "Friends are the best treasure."
Lily and Tom smiled. They knew the note was right. They were happy to be friends.
