Marina: A Mermaid's Tale
Once upon a time, way down deep in the big blue sea, lived a little mermaid named Marina. She had long, wavy, green hair and a sparkly tail that shimmered when she swam.
A Curious Mermaid
Marina loved to play with her friends. They would swim around coral reefs and look for pretty shells. But Marina was very, very curious. She always wanted to know what was up above the water.
One sunny day, Marina swam close to the top of the sea. She peeked her head out. “Wow!” she said. She saw a big boat and people waving. She had never seen anything like it before.
A Kind Friend
Suddenly, she saw a little boy fall off the boat! He splashed into the water. Marina knew she had to help. She quickly swam to him and pushed him up to the top. The people on the boat pulled him back up. They were very happy!
Marina smiled. She was glad she could help. She waved goodbye and swam back down to her home in the deep blue sea. She was a brave and kind mermaid.
Home Sweet Home
When she got home, she told her mom and dad all about her adventure. They were so proud of her. Marina knew she loved the sea, her friends, and helping others. And she knew she would always be a mermaid who made a difference.
