

When You Feel Angry
Sometimes, you might feel angry. It's okay to feel angry! Everyone feels angry sometimes. But it's important to know what to do when you feel that way. If you don't know how to handle it, you might do something you don't mean to do, or say something that hurts someone's feelings.
What Can You Do?
When you feel angry, try these things:
- Take a Deep Breath: Breathe in slowly. Breathe out slowly. Do this a few times. It can help you feel calmer. Like you are filling a balloon with air, then letting the air out very slowly.
- Count to Ten: Count slowly from one to ten. This gives you time to think before you act. It can help you slow down and think about your choices.
- Ask for Help: Talk to a grown-up you trust. It could be your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, or teacher. They can help you feel better and help you talk about what made you angry.
It's Okay to Ask for Help
Remember, it's okay to ask for help. Grown-ups are there to help you with your big feelings. They want to help you learn how to handle anger in a good way. It is very important to find healthy ways to deal with your emotions.
So, next time you feel angry, try taking a deep breath, counting to ten, or asking a grown-up for help. You can do it! Understanding your emotions is a very helpful skill that you will use for the rest of your life.
