Water flowed through carefully constructed canals, and vibrant flowers bloomed everywhere. It was even more beautiful than the legends described.

Sofia spent days exploring the city, marveling at its wonders. She learned about the Inca people who had lived there, their advanced knowledge of astronomy, agriculture, and art. But she also realized why the city had been hidden. Its beauty and knowledge were too precious to be plundered.
