Long ago, people wanted to keep bad guys away. So, they built a big wall! It was like a giant fence to protect them. The wall started a long, long time ago. Then, more people made it longer and stronger.

How Was It Built?

It was hard to build the wall. Many people helped. They used rocks and dirt. They carried them up high places. It was very hard work!

What Makes It Special?

The Great Wall is special because it's so big and long. It shows how strong the people of China were. Lots of people visit the wall now. They want to see how amazing it is. You can walk on it and see very far!

The Great Wall Today

Even though the wall is old, you can still see it. It reminds us of the past. People are working to keep the wall safe so everyone can see it forever!
