Precipitation: Raindrops are Born

When the clouds get full of water droplets or ice crystals, they become heavy. Eventually, the air can't hold any more water. So, the water falls back to the Earth as precipitation. Precipitation can be rain, snow, sleet, or hail, depending on how cold it is in the clouds and near the ground. Rain is the most common type of precipitation.

Collection: Water's Return
