Making new friends can be fun. It's like starting a new adventure!

Be Kind and Smile

When you want to make a friend, be kind. A smile can make someone feel happy. When people feel happy, they want to play with you. Say nice things. If you see someone sad, ask them what is wrong. Being nice is a great way to start a friendship.

Play Together

Do you like to play tag? Maybe someone else does too! Ask them to play with you. You can play games or read books together. Doing things together is a fun way to get to know someone. Sharing your toys is another way to show you care.

Listen and Share

When someone is talking, listen to them. Ask them questions about themselves. Share things about yourself too. Tell them what you like to do or what your favorite color is. Listening and sharing helps you learn about each other.

Be Yourself

The most important thing is to be yourself. Don't try to be someone else. Your friends will like you for who you are. Being yourself makes you a good friend. And when you are a good friend, you will make more friends!
