

Being Thankful Every Day
Being grateful is a happy thing! It means you see good things in your life. You can learn to be grateful in many easy ways. It can make you feel happy and good inside.
Say "Thank You"
When someone does something nice, say "thank you." If a friend shares a toy, say "thank you." If Mom makes you a yummy snack, say "thank you." Saying "thank you" shows you care. It makes the other person happy, too!
Write a Thank-You Note
Did someone give you a gift? You can write them a thank-you note. It does not have to be long. Just say what you liked about the gift. You can draw a picture, too! A note shows you are very grateful.
Think of Three Good Things
Every day, think of three good things. It could be a sunny day. Maybe you played with a friend. Or, you ate your favorite food. Thinking of good things helps you feel happy. It helps you see all the good in your life.
Being grateful is easy. It can make you and others feel good. Try it every day!
