Aisha and the Monsoon Magic

Aisha lived in a small village in India, nestled between green hills and a rushing river. Every year, she waited for the monsoon season with a mix of excitement and worry. The monsoon meant relief from the scorching heat, but it also brought relentless rain that could flood the village.

One day, the sky turned a deep, angry grey. The air crackled with electricity. Thump-thump-thump! Large, heavy raindrops began to fall. Aisha ran outside, her face tilted up to the sky. The first drops felt cool and refreshing on her skin. Soon, the rain was coming down in sheets.

River's Fury

The river, usually calm and gentle, began to swell. It roared and churned, carrying branches and debris. Aisha watched from her porch, a knot of worry forming in her stomach. She remembered the stories her grandmother told about the river's fury during past monsoons.

Suddenly, she saw her neighbor, Mr. Sharma, struggling to secure the roof of his small shop. The wind and rain were making it almost impossible.
